Now this... this has got to be in my top favourite red carpet looks of ALL TIME! Eva Longoria in a stunning feather dress at the Cannes 2012 Festival.... Now this to me is not "so last year" and it will never go out of style.. It's classic, elegant.. and absolutely STUNNING

 

 

 

 

 The detailing of this dress is absolutely stunning. This gown is girly, edgy, classy and just darn beautiful! I love how it cascades behind her and I love how it looks painted on to her body because of the nude mesh material.

Hello lovelies.... first of all let me start off by saying I apologize for not blogging in FOREVER, I guess I had bloggers block? But I am back and I am ready to go!

Today I met up with my lovely friend Sarah who I absolutely adore. We kind of have a tradition of going to starbucks and chatting...it's just what we do. But today we took it to another level.... We hadn't seen each other in a while so we planned a starbucks date! Little did we know..we would end up sitting at starbucks talking for SIX HOURS!!!!!! Yep, you read that right... We talked, and talked, and talked.. I swear we could have went on forever. I honestly enjoyed every single minute of it... we had inspiring chats, typical girl chats and just the type of chats you see in movies. We honestly had to force ourselves to leave because we looked down at our phones and realized..what a second...it's 6 o'clock...WE'VE BEEN HERE SINCE TWELVE!!!!!! It was the most loveliest day, we sat and sipped our drinks (which we ended up getting 2 orders of , because you know talking for 6 hours, you get a little thirsty) had some sweets, and that's about it! But that's the thing.... I literally had one of the best days I've had in a LONG time, but we did nothing but sit and talk? Nothing fancy, nothing crazy... but I loved every minute of it. I feel inspired, I feel happy, and I feel as though i'm in a very happy place right now.
 
So my lovelies... find friends who inspire you, who make your soul happy- and when you do, keep them close.

Outfit Of The Day!

Hello lovelies, hope you're all doing fabulous! I know I am! Here's just a little picture of a fun little outfit I wore to work..... I love skirts and crop tops, I think it looks so cute and girly but simple and super cozy! I must get my hands on some more... The shirt I wore isn't actually a crop top, I just tied it to be one :)

Exciting News..........................

Hello my lovelies, sorry again for the lack of posting (school and work are driving me CRAZY!) But today I would like to share some very exciting news!
So I don't know if I've mentioned before but I absolutely love musical theatre/plays/acting/singing/dancing..... so whenever auditions for my school's yearly musical rolls around i'm all on it! Recently my school has added in a musical theatre course! So now we practice the musical during class and get graded on it- this will help me immensely when I apply to university for theatre. I never have had a lead role in any of our musicals and it was on my bucket list to get one. So this year we are doing 'White Christmas' and I instantly knew who I wanted to play- one of the lovely Haynes sisters "Judy". She is a singer and dancer in the film and one of the leads. I worked super hard on my audition and desperately wanted this part..... and lone be hold.... I GOT THE ROLE! I am beyond excited! I cried and jumped for joy :)

If you haven't seen 'White Christmas' I highly suggest it, it's a fun, feel good Christmas musical and I absolutely love it.. not to mention the costumes are GORGEOUS!

Manicure Monday- Glittery Goodness!

Hello lovelies, hope you are having a wonderful Monday although they can usually be quite rubbish.... If you're having a case of the Monday blue's, just think about what you have in life right now to smile about :)
Now, I must admit I am absolutely awful at painting my nails, I get the nail polish all over my fingers and  I even get it on my face... (don't ask how because quite frankly i'm not too sure) But, I was quite pleased with how I did my nails today because they are better than usual!

I am absolutely in love with the mint colour lately, I think it looks fresh girly and fun! And as most of you know... i'm obsessed with glitter..... so I decided to play up a normal French manicure and do a GLITTER French manicure! exciting I know...

Oh Cheryl, How I Love You So!

So recently the Cannes Festival had rolled around and as usual there were so many gorgeous dresses, but one who really stood out to me was my favourite singer Cheryl Cole! She looked absolutely STUNNING in her Zuhair Murad gown. This my favourite red carpet look for Cheryl to date, I think it's just so beautiful.

Look at that amazing detail! So gorgeous!

 

I love the way her hair was styled. The dress itself was so busy, so i'm glad she went with a tossled look for her hair, made the entire look so effortlessly elegant.

 

 Her makeup for this event was simple, classy and absolutely stunning! It really showed her natural beauty, and again was not over done. I couldn't find a good picture to show it but she wore a maroon colour on her eyes and it looked stunning!
